Mateusz Zaremba (born October 27, 1984 in Nowogard ) is a Polish handball player .

The 1.98 m tall and 94 kg heavy left-hander is mostly deployed on the right back . Zaremba began playing handball in his hometown at Pomorzanin Nowogard. In 2003 he moved to the German regional division HSV Insel Usedom , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2003/04 . After two seasons he was relegated back to the 3rd division. In 2007, a year before his contract expired, he was signed by the top Polish club KS Vive Kielce , with whom he became champions in 2009, 2010 and 2012 and cup winners in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. With Kielce he also reached the round of 16 in the EHF Cup 2007/08 and in the EHF Champions League in 2009/10 and 2011/12. He has been playing for Pogoń Szczecin since 2012 .

With the Polish national team he took part in the 2011 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship and finished 8th and 9th respectively. So far, he has played 27 international matches in which he scored 31 goals. (As of February 22, 2014)
