Mathías Guzmán , full name Mathías Guzmán Rivero , (born January 12, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, the 1.80 meter tall midfielder, who was already part of the Danubios youth team in 2007 , was in the squad of this Uruguayan first division team for at least the course of the 2009/10 season, for which he was in the following until his move in February 2013 Completed 46 games in the Primera División and scored four goals. He then joined his current employer El Tanque Sisley from Clausura 2013 . In that second half of the season he was used twice by coach Osvaldo Canobbio . He also played in one of the two games of the Copa Sudamericana 2013 , in which his club failed in the first round. In the league in the Apertura 2013 there are no appearances for him.

After the 2013 Apertura, Guzmán's contract with El Tanque Sisley expired. At the end of January 2014, it was listed as a departure without any further details of the target. From mid-January 2015 he continued his career with the second division club Atlético Torque . By the end of the season, he completed twelve second division games (one goal) there. In the 2015/16 season he was used in two other games (no goal) of the Segunda División. At the beginning of July 2016, he moved to Jaguares de Córdoba . With the Colombians he played six first division games (no goal). In mid-January 2017, the Rampla Juniors signed him . So far (as of March 4, 2017) he has not played a league game there.

National team

Guzmán was a member of Ángel Castelnoble 's Uruguayan U-15 selection, which took part in the U-15 South American Championship in Bolivia in 2005 . He also played in the Uruguayan U-17 national team . In this he came among other things on June 7, 2006 in a so-called Copa Confraternidad in the Estadio Centenario against Chile to use. He was also a member of the 2007 U-17 South American Championship in Ecuador .
