Blue Caprice is an American film directed by Alexandre Moors from the year 2013 . The film premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival .
The film deals with the acts of serial killers John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo in the murders known as " Beltway Sniper Attacks ".

The on Antigua living teenager Lee Boyd Malvo suffers from the absence of the mother and is making a suicide attempt. He is saved by John Allen Muhammad , who later takes him to the United States. Lee increasingly sees John as a father figure and increasingly adopts his radical views. During a target practice with John's army friend Ray, John realizes that Lee is a natural at the gun. Ray and his girlfriend Jamie both gain access to a variety of weapons.
John eventually forces Lee to commit the first murder of a woman who testified against him in John's divorce. Both drive around in their blue Chevrolet Caprice and commit numerous other murders with a sniper rifle .

Blue Caprice received mostly positive reviews. The Metacritic review collection has a Metascore of 90%.
The Hollywood Reporter critic particularly praised the acting of the leading actors Isaiah Washington and Tequan Richmond and called the film a "disturbing, masterfully executed thriller".
