Matheus Dória Macedo (born November 8, 1994 in São Gonçalo ) is a Brazilian football player . The defender is under contract with Santos Laguna .

Career

societies

Dória moved to the youth department of Botafogo FR in 2009 and moved up to the first team in 2012. On May 27, 2012, he made his professional debut in a 3-2 win over Coritiba FC . On October 27, 2012, he scored his first goal in the Série A in a 4-0 win over Atlético Goianiense . After finishing the 2013 season with the club in fourth place, he played in the Copa Libertadores in 2014 , but retired with the team in the group stage.

For the 2014/15 season , Dória moved to Olympique Marseille in Ligue 1 . He signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2019. After he was not used in the first half of the season, he was loaned out to São Paulo FC for four months in February 2015 . For the 2015/16 season he went on loan to Spanish first division club Granada CF for a year . From January to June 2018, Dória played on loan for Yeni Malatyaspor in the Süper Lig and was used nine times. He then moved to Santos Laguna .

National team

Dória played eight times for the Brazil U20s between 2013 and 2014 and took part in the 2013 U20 South American Championship in Argentina . On April 6, 2013, he made his senior national team debut in a 4-0 win over Bolivia .
