Mathias Perktold (born April 17, 1987 ) is an Austrian football player .

Athletic career

Perktold began his career in the youth of the SV Kirchbichl in Tirol , to which he remained loyal with interruptions until 2007. The interruptions were from 2001 to 2002 FC Tirol Innsbruck and 2004 to 2005 SV Thiersee . In 2007 he joined the first team of the Regionalliga West club FC Kufstein . Perktold made his debut in Austria's third-highest division on March 31, 2007 against the Austria Lustenau Amateurs , where they won 2-0 away. In the following season he became a regular at the Kufstein team and scored three goals in 27 games. Before the 2008/09 season, the right midfielder moved within the league to SC Schwaz , where he was also a regular. Then Perktold played two seasons at WSG Wattens , where the Bundesliga club FC Wacker Innsbruck became aware of him.

Initially he was used by the amateurs Wackers, before he made his debut in the top Austrian league on March 31, 2012. Perktold came on in the 87th minute for Christopher Wernitznig in the home game against the later relegated Kapfenberger SV . The game was won 2-0. He came on another mission that season. In the summer of 2012, the midfielder moved to the second highest Austrian division for First Vienna FC . In January 2013 he moved back to his youth club SV Kirchbichl in the fourth highest division. After a six-month interlude with the regional division SV Thiersee , he moved to SC Kundl in the summer of 2015 .

Private

Perktold is looked after by his father, who has the UEFA A license and currently looks after SV Thiersee . He is single and has no children.
