Maths is a song by the Canadian producer Deadmau5 ( Deep House / Electro House ). It was first released on iTunes on February 17, 2012 . The song first appeared in a YouTube video by Deadmau5 called drowned rat on June 1, 2011. On February 17, 2012, the full version was also released on YouTube.
Music video
The music video was released on February 23, 2012. It has no real content, texts like " __MATHS__ " or " __DEADMAU5__ " run across the screen in yellow . Deadmau5 announced on Facebook that an employee of the label had simply thrown the video together and then uploaded it and it was not the official music video, but something "for YouTube and so". Accordingly, the video title Unofficial and UNAPPROVED video my labels management is just threw up here.

The single was able to reach the UK Dance Charts. It rose to number 33 on March 3, 2012. This is the only place in the top 40.
criticism
Senthil Chidambaram from Dancing Astronaut says that the song has daft punk influences, but also has similarities with his biggest hit to date, Ghosts 'n' Stuff . One writer at indecentxposure.net thinks Maths will please those who like Deadmau5's hard electro beats.
