Strobe is a song by Canadian producer Deadmau5 . It was first released on iTunes on February 23, 2010 . The song was released in Canada and the USA on Ultra Records and in other countries on Virgin Records and mau5trap . The song uses parts of Deadmau5's song "Then We Stood Still" from 2006.
Instead of a music video, a video was released for the title, which only shows the CD cover of the album For Lack of a Better Name . The video has so far received over 45 million views on YouTube , making it one of the most watched videos on the UltraRecords channel , which has over 1,000 videos , the official channel of the Ultra Records label.

Commercial win
The single only hit the UK dance charts . They entered on February 6, 2010 at number 13, fell the following week to number 21 and after 2 weeks fell out of the top 40 the next week.
criticism
The song received positive reviews. Jax Spike from about.com commented on the song: "The closing track" Strobe "is an experience in itself that builds into an epic club anthem." And an author from thefreshpage.com said: "" Strobe "has a serene welcoming feel to it that unites people from all races, sexes and cultures and all you can envision are crowds smiling and waving in the wind of the sounds pumping out of the speakers at any of Deadmau5′s concerts. ".
