It was first released on September 25, 2012. It was recorded from 2009 to 2012, with Failbait (feat. Cypress Hill ) being the oldest track on the album. Album Title Goes Here was released in the United States and Canada on Ultra Records , in all other countries on Virgin Records and mau5trap.
Cover design
The cover of the album is decorated with a half-broken mau5head , the trademark Deadmau5. Zimmerman's cat Professor Meowingtons can be found in it. The cover was designed by Arn0 , a designer who has created logos for Nokia and Coca-Cola , among others . The cover was announced at the same time as the track list and the release date on August 9, 2012.
Singles
So far, three singles from the album have been released, all in advance.
- Maths was released on February 17, 2012 after the song was included in a video by Deadmau5 on June 1, 2011. The song reached number 33 on the UK Dance Charts.
- The Veldt was released on May 6, 2012. It features vocals from Chris James, whom Deadmau5 met on Twitter . A music video was made, the first by Deadmau5 since Ghosts 'n' Stuff in 2009. The Veldt reached number 68 in both Switzerland and the UK. An EP was also on sale from June 22, 2012.
- Professional Griefers was the third release (August 14, 2012) from the album. The track was recorded with Gerard Way , lead singer of the band My Chemical Romance . A music video was also made for this production. It is currently the most expensive electronic song of all time. Professional Griefers is featured on the FIFA 13 soundtrack .

Album Title Goes Here was able to place in various charts. In Germany, Deadmau5 came in at number 39 and thus the first chart position in the German charts. Furthermore, they were ranked 18th in Switzerland, 24th in Austria, ninth in the United Kingdom, second in Canada, sixth in the United States, 16th in the Netherlands, 28th in Belgium (Flanders), 35th in Reach Belgium (Wallonia), 27th in Norway, 11th in Australia and 17th in New Zealand. In addition, the album Title Goes Here went straight to number one on the US dance / electronic album charts, was number two in the independent album charts in the first week, and fifth in the digital album in the first week Charts . It also debuted at first place on the iTunes dance charts and fourth place on all albums on iTunes. It is Deadmau5's most successful album.
criticism
The album received various reviews. The Metascore calculated by Metacritic is 59%, nine different reviews were evaluated. There were positive voices like Megan Farokhmanesh from Paste , who gave the album 8.5 stars out of ten and said that after hearing something from the album, you wanted more and more until the songs ran through your head all night went. The album is also adrenaline-pumping .

Allmusic's David Jeffries had mixed opinions on the album. He said the album is expansive and modest, but also well suited for real fans of Deadmau5. He awarded three stars out of five.
BBC Music's Louis Pattison gave a rather negative review with two stars out of five and said that it would give album Title Goes Here a bit of heart to hear its predecessors in dance music, but the album all in all as hollow as its title would be.
John Calvert from Fact (UK) gave a very negative review with only half a star out of five, saying that lonely youngsters could feel like they were rebelling with this album and that it was a culture to be in These young people could take their money with productions like this one.
