Matias Helt Jepsen (born March 13, 1988 in Herning , Denmark ) is a Danish handball player .

Career

The from Herning Dating back player began his active professional career in 2006 with Team Tvis Holstebro. After several positions in his home country ( HC Midtjylland , AG København , Fredericia HK, Skanderborg Håndbold and Ribe-Esbjerg HH), where he was consistently among the top scorers, he moved to GC Amicitia Zurich for the first time in 2015 . Shortly after his start in the Swiss National League A , the right-hander injured his shoulder in a game against RTV 1879 Basel and consequently had to undergo surgery. After the financial situation at GC Amicitia Zurich remained tense, Jespen left the club and signed with Handball Tirol in the Handball League Austria before the end of the 2017 season . The playmaker for IFK Skövde HK has played in the Handbollsligan since the 2018/19 season .
