Matias Petteri Ojala (born February 28, 1995 in Oulu ) is a Finnish football player who was last under contract with AC Oulu from 2010 to 2015 .
Career
society
Ojala began his career in the youth department of the Finnish clubs Oulun Luistinseura and Tervarit Oulu , before moving to the youth department of the next largest club, AC Oulu . He made his debut in the Veikkausliiga on August 12, 2010 at the age of 15 years, five months and 12 days , making him the youngest player in the history of the Finnish top division. After relegation to the Ykkönen , Ojala developed into a regular player in the 2011 season.
On August 30, 2013, Ojala moved to the second team (U-23) of Hamburger SV on loan until the end of the 2013/14 season after a trial session . Before that, he had already practiced a year earlier at city rivals FC St. Pauli . On September 8, 2013 Ojala ran against Eintracht Norderstedt for the first time in the fourth-rate Regionalliga Nord . After his loan contract expired, Ojala left the club. At the end of the 2015 season, his contract with AC Oulu expired and he had to leave the club.
National team
Ojala played so far (as of December 2015) for the Finnish U-16, U-17, U-19, U-20 and U-21 youth national teams.
