The Matov Peak (English, Bulgarian Матов връх Matow wrach ) is a 1350 m high and icy mountain in the northwestern foothills of Detroit Plateau on the Davis Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 4.1 km south of Hargrave Hill , 16.26 km south-southeast of Havilland Point , 11.7 km southwest of Volov Peak , 15.95 km west of Ezdimir Buttress and 15.95 km northeast of Mount Ader . Its steep western and southern slopes are partly uncovered.
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 Christo Matow (1872–1922), a leader of the Bulgarian Freedom Movement in Macedonia .
