Yūki Matsuzaki

Yūki Matsuzaki ( Japanese 松 崎 悠 希 , Matsuzaki Yūki ; born September 24, 1981 in Miyazaki Prefecture ) is a Japanese actor .

Life

Matsuzaki began acting at the age of seven when he appeared in a small theater company for children. He played in more than 50 plays in local theaters up to the age of 18. After finishing school, he moved to New York City to train as an actor. Upon arrival, his money was stolen and he became homeless. To make a living, he started showing in Times Square . Finally, in 2003 he got an engagement in the film Last Samurai . He then got other roles, for example in Drunken Sword or Roku . Eventually, Clint Eastwood gave him a role in Letters from Iwo Jima . In 2009 Matsuzaki starred in The Pink Panther 2 and in 2011 in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides .
