Matt Campbell (born September 29, 1989 in Hamilton , Ontario ) is a Canadian darts player .

Career

In 2015 Campbell tried to qualify for the 2016 World Championship at the PDC North American Qualifying Event , but failed in the round of 32 against former World Champion John Part . At the Canadian Open 2018 he made it to the semi-finals and was on the Championship Darts Circuit Tour for the first time in a final, where he was defeated by a narrow 5: 6 to the American Darin Young . In February 2019, he then achieved his first tournament victory by winning the ADO Syracuse Open . He was also able to qualify as the best Canadian on the tour for the 2020 World Cup. There Campbell lost in the first round with 1: 3 sets against Mark McGeeney from England.
