Matthäus Host (* 1509 in Wilmersdorf near Berlin ; † April 29, 1587 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) was a German Graecist and university professor.

Life

In 1527, Matthäus Host came to the Brandenburg University of Frankfurt accompanied by the sons of Straussberg's mayor Benedict Lindholz, a relative of his mother's .
