Matthias Bornefeldt (born September 6, 1616 in Lübeck ; † August 30, 1669 there ) was a Lübeck merchant and councilor .
Bornefeldt was elected to the council of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck in 1659. He was one of the co-signers of the citizens' recession of 1669, the last constitutional amendment in Lübeck before 1848. Bornefeldt was married to a daughter of the Lübeck councilor Paul Wibbeking . A daughter marries the Holstein and Danish statesman Johann Hugo von Lente .
