Matthias Duan Yin-ming
Matthias Duan Yin-ming ( Chinese 段 荫 明 , Pinyin Duàn Yìnmíng ; born February 22, 1908 in Dachuan , Chinese Empire ; † January 10, 2001 in Wanzhou , People's Republic of China ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Wanzhou .
Life
Matthias Duan Yin-ming was ordained a priest on March 27, 1937 . Pope Pius XII appointed him Bishop of Wanzhou on June 9, 1949.
The Archbishop of Chongqing , Louis-Gabriel-Xavier Jantzen MEP , donated him episcopal ordination on October 18 of the same year; Co -consecrators were René-Désiré-Romain Boisguérin MEP, Bishop of Yibin , and Paul Wang Wen-cheng , Bishop of Nanchong .
