Matthias Juchem
Matthias Juchem (born before 1974 in Hoengen , died before 2004) was a German opera singer (tenor).
Life
Matthias Juchem came from Hoengen , later he lived in Alsdorf- Mariadorf near Aachen .
After graduating from business school , he took up the job of administrative clerk. His tenor voice with a rich middle register and baritone timbre was discovered early on. Training at the State University of Music in Cologne followed. After graduating from the Cologne Opera School, he received engagements at the Theater Bonn , the Theater Aachen , and from 1975 he was a member of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf and Duisburg .
Again and again he worked on his voice with the help of well-known singing teachers such as the Dutchman Leo Ketelaars in Maastricht and Adolf Enrico Schmidt-Lugano . With the vocal teacher and baritone chamber singer Professor Josef Metternich he subjected himself to constant vocal control.
The harpist Isolde Juchem is his daughter.
