From the 2005/06 season he was finally part of the senior squad with which he celebrated the Allsvenskan championship title at the end of the 2007/08 season. The team also qualified for the Elitserien via the Kval series .
After two good years with Rögle in the Elitserien and the interim appointment as assistant captain, he was signed by league rival Färjestad BK in April 2010 . In the following two years he was used by the Capitals with the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League and loaned to Färjestad BK in the second half of the 2011/12 season.
In May 2013 he was hired by Linköpings HC and was one of the top performers there for the next two years. At the end of the 2014/15 season he received the Peter Forsberg Trophy as the best striker of the Svenska Hockeyligan. He then left the LHC and was committed by Ak Bars Kazan from the Continental Hockey League . After a year in the KHL, he moved to Switzerland: In June 2016 he signed a contract with the ZSC Lions from the National League and won the Swiss championship with them in 2018 . He then returned to Rögle BK.
