Maureen Rever

Maureen Rever ( Beverley Maureen Rever, married DuWors; born July 21, 1938 in Regina , Saskatchewan ) is a former Canadian sprinter and long jumper .

At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , she was eliminated over 100 m , 200 m and in the 4-by-100-meter relay in the preliminary run.

In 1958, she won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff with the Canadian 4-by-110-yard relay.

At the Pan American Games in Canada in 1959 , she also won bronze with the Canadian 4 x 100 meter relay and was fourth in the long jump.

She was twice Canadian champion in the long jump (1957, 1958) and once each over 60 yards (1955) and 100 yards (1955).

In 1977 she was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame .
