Maurice Colclough (born September 2, 1953 in Oxford , † January 27, 2006 ) was an English rugby union player .
Colclough made his rugby debut in the 15-0 victory between England and Scotland in 1978. He played for Sussex and Lancashire between 1978 and 1986, as well as for East Grinstead, Wasps and Swansea . He celebrated his greatest success in 1980 with the English Grand Slam victory over Scotland. England won the Five Nations again for the first time after 1957 and was only able to win the title again in 1991.
Colclough died of a brain tumor, leaving behind his wife and five children.
