Maurice Monier

Maurice Monier (born December 21, 1952 in Saint-Pal-de-Chalencon , Haute-Loire , France ) is a French priest and pro-dean of the Roman Rota .

Life

Maurice Monier received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Le Puy-en-Velay in 1977 . He was promoted to Dr. iur. utr doctorate and worked as Offizial active in Paris.

Since January 9, 1995, he has been auditor prelate of the Roman Rota and since 2013 judge at the Court of Appeal of the Vatican .

On December 12, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Pro-Dean of the Roman Rota and thus Deputy Dean Pio Vito Pinto .

On April 1, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Consultor of the Congregation for the Clergy .
