Maurice Porot

Maurice Porot (born September 8, 1912 in Bourgoin , † June 1997 ) was a French psychiatrist .

Life

In 1938 , Porot received his doctorate in medicine from the Université d'Alger . He worked at the Hôpitaux d'Alger and taught at the same university from 1958. In 1965 he began teaching psychiatry and medical psychology at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Clermont-Ferrand . He wrote books especially on child psychiatry and received the title of Officier des Palmes académiques .

Porot was the son of Antoine Porot .
