Maurizio Dattrino

Maurizio Dattrino (born October 8, 1965 ) is a Swiss professional officer ( brigadier ).

biography

Maurizio Dattrino joined the Material Troops Instructional Corps in 1989 . After his training he switched to infantry in 1992 , where he worked as an instructor for mountain infantry at the schools in Savatan, Chur , Stans and Airolo until 2003. In 2004 he was assigned staff officer to the commander of Territorial Region 3 in Altdorf. In 2005, after further training at the Centro Alti Studi per la Difesa in Rome , Dattrino became group leader and staff coach at the General Staff School in Lucerne and in 2009 he was assigned staff officer and deputy to the commandant of the General Staff School. After that he was in command of the medical schools in Airolo until 2013 . In 2014 he took over command of Mountain Infantry Brigade 9 while being promoted to brigadier , and on July 1, 2017, he also took over command of the General Staff School.

Maurizio Dattrino is married to Daniela Dattrino-Bruschi.
