Maurizio Pisati
Maurizio Pisati (* 1959 in Milan ) is an Italian composer and guitarist .
Pisati attended the classes of Adriano Guarnieri and Giacomo Manzoni at the Conservatory of Milan , where he studied music analysis, composition, counterpoint, harmony and music history. He was also a student of Salvatore Sciarrino in Città di Castello .
From 1983 to 1989 he was a member of the Laboratorio Trio . Then he founded the music ensemble ZONE and in 1997 the record label LArecords . From 1988 Pisati was Professor of Composition at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto , and later at the Conservatory of Bologna . In addition, he gives courses and master classes etc. a. in Tokyo, Reykjavík and Milan, 2004-06 in Frascati and in summer 2006 at Brisbane University .
