Mawicke is the easternmost district of the city of Werl in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is located north of the old federal highway 1 (today L 969) between Werl and Soest . About 590 people live here. The local and social center are the shooting hall and the shooting club.

On July 1, 1969, Mawicke was incorporated into Werl.
