history

In the mid-1960s, the then still independent municipality concluded a development contract for a building area with a farmer . In 1969 a development plan for 42 residential units was drawn up. The settlement was built in two construction phases.

On July 1, 1969, Oberbergstrasse was incorporated into Werl.

Luigsmühle

The building of the former flour mill is a listed building ; the large, approx. 750 year old oak in front of the house is also protected. The old mill stream is still there. In the 1930s to 1960s, a natural swimming pool was set up next to the Lugismühle in the mill ponds .
