Max Apelt

Max Apelt (born December 9, 1861 in Halle , † September 19, 1908 in Deutsch-Wilmersdorf ) was a German administrative lawyer and municipal official.

Life

As the son of a businessman, Apelt attended the city ​​high school in Halle . After graduating from high school, he began to study law and political science at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . In 1884 he became a member of the Palatia Tübingen fraternity . He moved to the University of Leipzig and the Friedrichs University of Halle . After his exams he was mayor of the city of Oederan from 1890 to 1892 . From 1892 to 1899 he was mayor of Mittweida and from 1899 to 1907 mayor of Peine .
