Max Boller

Max Boller (born August 3, 1897 in Zurich , † July 25, 1974 in Berlingen ; resident in Zurich) was a Swiss doctor and painter .

life and work

Boller worked as a country doctor around his place of residence Ermatingen . He was a student of the drawing teacher Eduard Stiefel at the cantonal high school in Zurich .

During his medical studies, Boller attended evening courses in Paris , Munich and Zurich. He became known for his landscape and lake landscape pictures.

When Karl Scheffler lived in Überlingen , he was in regular contact with them.
