Live and act

Born in Berlin-Charlottenburg, he trained as a commercial assistant after graduating from primary school. During the Weimar Republic , Hüske worked in a wide variety of areas in the film industry (e.g. in 1932 as production manager for Luis Trenker's Der Rebell ).

At the beginning of 1933 he was appointed production manager by Terra Film . Later, Max Hüske was involved in the production of some central Trenker ( The Emperor of California, Condottieri ) and Riefenstahl ( Tiefland ) films. In the late 30s, Hüske often stayed in Rome , where he oversaw several singer films with stars such as Beniamino Gigli ( mother song ), Maria Cebotari ( mother song , premiere of Butterfly ) and Johannes Heesters ( adventure goes on ).

After the war, Hüske first settled in Wiesbaden and later in Munich . Even in the 50s, Max Hüske remained true to operetta fabrics ( mask in blue ), but also took over the production management of stories that combined music with melodramatic content ( Ave Maria, come back ).
