Max Ittenbach

Max Theodor Ludwig Ittenbach (born April 18, 1831 in Gymnich , † October 22, 1908 in Berlin-Charlottenburg ) was a German general auditor of the imperial army and navy .

Life

During his studies in Bonn and Heidelberg he became a member of the Marcomannia Bonn fraternity in 1849 . Ittenbach began his professional career in 1859 as a court assessor in Koblenz and was transferred to the regional court in Elberfeld in 1866 . Two years later (1868) he was appointed public prosecutor in Frankfurt am Main and in 1871 the first senior procurator at the regional court of Metz . In 1877 he became Privy Councilor in Reichsjustizamt and 1880 Privy Senior Government . In 1885 he was appointed auditor general for the army and navy. In 1895 he became a real secret senior judicial officer with the title "Excellency". He was a member of the Prussian State Council in Berlin and from 1891 a member of the Prussian mansion for life.
