Max Josef Ringlstetter (* 1959 in Munich ) is a German business economist. He holds the chair for general business administration , organization and personnel at the economic science faculty of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt .

Life

After graduating from high school in Munich in 1978, Max Ringlstetter studied business administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and graduated in 1985 with a degree in business administration. During his studies he worked for Siemens , among others . After graduating, he worked for McKinsey , among others . From 1985 to 1993 he worked initially as a research assistant and later as a research assistant at the Institute for Organization under the direction of Werner Kirsch . At the same institute he was awarded a Dr. rer. pole. PhD. In 1993 he graduated from the seminar for strategic corporate management (headed by Werner Kirsch) as Dr. rer. pole. habil. habilitation. Since 1993, Max Ringlstetter has held the chair for general business administration, organization and personnel at the Faculty of Economics (WFI - Ingolstadt School of Management) at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt .

Max Ringlstetter is the author of various textbooks and scientific publications on various topics in the areas (among others) organizational theory , strategic management , professional service firms , positive management, etc. The competencies of the chair are currently divided into the fields of corporate development and organization, human resource management, management and strategies of the media industry, management and strategies of professional service firms, management and strategies of retail companies and automotive management.

Since 1980 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Rheno-Franconia Munich.

Fields of competence

Max Ringlstetter sees one of his main tasks in the development of scientifically founded solution concepts for management practice in organizations. He differentiates between two functional (organization, strategy and corporate development as well as human resource management) and four industry-specific research focuses (management and strategies of professional service firms, media, retail and automotive companies).
