Stephan Kaiser (born February 26, 1971 in Bamberg ) is a German economist (personnel and organizational researcher). He holds the professorship for Business Administration, Human Resource Management and Organization at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich and is on the board of the local institute for the development of sustainable organizations.

Career

After High School on Reuchlin-Gymnasium in Ingolstadt (1990) studied Stephan Kaiser Business Administration at the University of Regensburg (among others Hansjürgen Drumm ) and at the University of Wales , Swansea and graduated in 1996 as a business graduate from. In 2001 he started with Max Ringlstetter at the Ingolstadt Faculty of Economics at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt with a dissertation on the development of human resources. A resource and learning-oriented perspective on Dr. rer. pole. PhD. He also completed his habilitation there and received the Venia Legendi for business administration (2007).

In December 2007 he accepted a position at the WHL Wissenschaftliche Hochschule Lahr , where he held the chair for general business administration, human resource management and organization from August 2008 to September 2009. From 2008 to 2010 he was also visiting professor at the Faculty of Economics at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

Since October 2009 he has held the professorship for General Business Administration, Personnel Management and Organization at the Faculty of Economics and Organizational Science at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich (successor to Rainer Marr ). From 2011 to 2018 he headed the corporate management working group of the Schmalenbach Society for Business Administration . Since 2017 he has been chairman of the scientific commission for human resources in the Association of University Lecturers for Business Administration .

Stephan Kaiser is the author of over 100 publications on management research . His research focuses on personnel , organization and strategy.
