Max Sterk (born December 5, 1951 ) is a former football player .

Athletic career

Sterk began playing football at SV Mochenwangen before joining third division club FV Ravensburg . For the club he played in the amateur league Black Forest-Bodensee until 1974 . He then accepted an offer from the Stuttgarter Kickers , for which he came to three appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga in the second division season 1974/75 and played in the reserve team at the same time.

In the summer of 1975, Sterk returned to the FV Ravensburg. After places in the middle of the table, he qualified in the summer of 1978 with a fourth place in the table for the newly created Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . After eight goals in 33 games, with which he had contributed to staying up on points with SV Kuppenheim and relegated SV Neckargerach , he moved to FV Bad Saulgau 04 in the fifth-class state league Württemberg . In 1980 he returned to FV Ravensburg via FC Fleischwangen . He played a season in the major league for the Südwürttemberger before he moved again to the Landesliga Württemberg and henceforth kicked the ball for FV Bad Waldsee .
