Max Wogritsch

Max Wogritsch (* 6. June 1880 in Dresden , † 23. March 1951 in Sendenhorst ) was a German actor , production manager and manager .

Life

Wogritsch had received a musical training and played as a cellist before he began his first acting engagement at the Zurich City Theater in 1906 . He stayed there for the next five years and moved to the Stadttheater Düsseldorf in 1911 . Max Wogritsch performed there until the end of the First World War and, since August 11, 1911, also appeared in films from Düsseldorf and Berlin , including two early Asta Nielsen successes.

Based in Berlin since 1919, Wogritsch concentrated on his work for the cinema. Since the early 20s he was primarily working as a production manager, occasionally also as a production manager. In the 1930s, Wogritsch earned his living as a dispatcher and operations manager in the Tobis sound engineering department .
