Max von Bredow (politician, 1817)

Maximilian Karl Friedrich Albert von Bredow (born January 15, 1817 in Landin , † October 28, 1893 in Berlin ) was a Prussian colonel and manor owner.

Life

origin

His parents were Karl Ernst Samuel von Bredow (1777-1825) and his wife Luise Dorotha Frederike Charlotte, born von Bredow (1790-1859) from the Wagenitz family. His father was Herr auf Stechow, Zapel, Laaslich and Rambow.

Career

Bredow studied at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . Between 1839 and 1841 he became a member and later an honorary member of the Corps Neoborussia Berlin . After completing his studies, he embarked on a career as an officer in the Prussian Army and became a colonel . After his farewell he lived on his manor Zapel near Karstädt and sat in the Prussian mansion from 1891 until his death .

family

He married Thusnelda von Puttkamer (1821–1861) on October 18, 1841 . The daughter Thusnelda Bertha Elisabeth (* 1845) emerged from the marriage and married the Prussian major Karl von Bredow of the Ihlow family.
