Maxim Schunk

Maxim Schunk (bourgeois Maximilian Schunk ; born May 2, 1989 in Ratingen ) is a German electronic DJ who focuses on the genres of Electro , Deep House and Progressive House . Schunk became internationally known in 2015 with the single Shine and the DeepHouseBrothers . Schunk works with Djs Avicii , Don Diablo , Tiesto , Blasterjaxx , Sam Feldt , Tritonal , and Fedde Le Grand , among others .

Life

Schunk received piano lessons from the age of six and attended a music school in Wuppertal in 2010 .

Schunk has been producing digital music since he was 14 years old. In 2012, Schunk and the Hamburg singer and songwriter Tihamer Jenei won the YouTube award for "most played video" with the song Make You Fly . In 2013 he produced the song Feel it in my heart vs. with rapper TomE (Tom J Corea) . TonyT .

At the end of 2014, Maximilian Schunk and Marcel Müller founded the Deep House Brothers project. They produce electro house , big room and deep house . In December 2015, the duo released the song Twerk under the name Jaxx , which landed in the MTV Top 10 video charts. The following EP XuXu reached the iTunes bestseller charts. With the song Shine (feat. MIC Deal), the duo reached number 47 in the viral Spotify charts at the beginning of March 2016 .

Schunk has been working with Universal Music Publishing Germany since mid-2015 and produces background music for radio and television worldwide.

Maxim Schunk publishes new songs every week exclusively via the Spotify streaming portal and reaches more than 500,000 plays every week . The first publications by ROBA Music Verlag from Hamburg took place in November 2016 .
