The Roba Music Publishing is an independent German music publisher . The company was founded by Rolf Baierle in Hamburg in 1969 and is active worldwide with foreign representatives.

The company acquired several German and international music publishers. For example, the former state- owned music publisher Lied der Zeit , which acquired the rights to almost all of the GDR's entertainment songs . Among them were well-known melodies such as the melody of Our Sandman and a large part of the repertoire of the GDR hit star Frank Schöbel . In addition, the European Publishing Company was taken over, which represents a large number of well-known German hit melodies.
