Maximilian Ardelt

Maximilian Ardelt (born February 13, 1940 in Berlin ) is a German entrepreneur. For several years he was a member of the board of directors at the energy company VIAG (now part of the E.ON Group). During this time he built up several mobile communications companies in Europe.

Life

Ardelt was born in Berlin. He passed his Abitur in Osnabrück . After completing his basic military service in the German Navy and training as a reserve officer , he began studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Berlin in 1962 and graduated in 1969 with a degree in engineering . During his studies he became a member of the Berlin student union Corps Marchia Berlin .

Ardelt is a co-founder of a total of 26 companies in the telecommunications sector , including the service provider Talkline and the chip card manufacturer Orgatec .

Between 1970 and 1984 Ardelt worked for Klöckner-Werke AG in Duisburg . From 1984 to 1994 he was a member of the executive board of Salzgitter AG , Salzgitter and Preussag AG , Hanover . During this time he was u. a. active in the departments of corporate development, environmental technology , information technology and plant construction.

From 1994 to 2000 Ardelt was a member of the Executive Board of VIAG Aktiengesellschaft in Munich.
