Maximilian Lipp (born February 18, 1992 in Flensburg ) is a German handball player .

Career

Lipp began playing handball in the youth team of SG Flensburg-Handewitt , where he was partly used in the first team in the handball Bundesliga and in the EHF Cup . In 2011, the 1.93 meter tall backcourt player moved to third division club TSV Altenholz , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd handball Bundesliga in 2013. After the 2015/16 season he concentrated on his studies. In the final phase of the 2016/17 season he helped out again at TSV Altenholz.

He made his debut in the youth national team against the French selection in Freiberg . In his first international match he scored nine goals.

Others

Maximilian Lipp's father Peter Lipp was also a handball player. The goalkeeper won the European Cup Winners' Cup with TuS Nettelstedt in 1981 and also played in Flensburg for several years.
