Maximilian Waack (born January 12, 1996 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Waack began his career at 1. FC Kaiserslautern . In 2013 he moved to FC-Astoria Walldorf . In 2014 he joined the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim U-19 team .

For the 2015/16 season he moved into the squad of the fourth-class second team at Hoffenheim. He made his regional league debut in October 2015 when he came on as a substitute for Jannik Dehm on match day 15 of that season against FK Pirmasens in stoppage time .

He scored his first goal for Hoffenheim II in August 2016 in a 1-1 draw against SV Waldhof Mannheim . In December 2017 Waack was against Ludogorez Razgrad for the first time in the squad of the Hoffenheim professionals.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to the Austrian second division club SC Austria Lustenau . He made his debut in the second division in July 2018 when he was brought into play for Sandro Djuric in the 82nd minute on the first matchday of that season against SK Austria Klagenfurt . After the 2018/19 season he left Lustenau.

He then returned to Germany in August 2019 and switched to the fifth-class TuS Mechtersheim .
