Maximilian Weiß (born June 22, 1998 ) is a German soccer player .

Career

After starting out as a youth at TSV Großbardorf , he moved to the youth department at FC Carl Zeiss Jena in summer 2013 . There he made his first appearance in the professional field in the 3rd division when he was substituted on for Maximilian Wolfram in the 75th minute of the game in the 0-1 away defeat at SV Wehen Wiesbaden . During the winter break he was loaned to the regional league team ZFC Meuselwitz until the end of the 2017/18 season in order to get more match practice. Back in Jena , he played only three short appearances for the third division team in the first season , but was regularly used by the amateurs in the Oberliga Nordost . In June 2019, the association announced that it had extended the contract until June 30, 2020. After his contract expired, he moved back to his home club TSV Großbardorf in the Bayern League .
