Maximilian Freiherr von Ow (born April 5, 1784 in Meersburg ; † July 16, 1845 in Wachendorf ) was a German government official, manor owner and parliamentarian.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1802, Maximilian von Ow studied at the (today's) Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich at the University of Landshut . In 1806 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Landshut . After completing his studies, he was initially a member of the Württemberg government. Ow owned the manors Wachendorf and Bierlingen . He was an imperial Austrian chamberlain . From 1815 to 1844 he was a member of the Knighthood of the Black Forest District of the Second Chamber of the Württemberg Land estates . Since 1812 he was married to Wilhelmine Countess von Leutrum-Ertingen , lady of honor of the St. Anne's Foundation in Munich.
