Maya Langes-Swarovski
Maya Langes-Swarovski (born March 31, 1937 in Alzenau , Lower Franconia ; † October 1, 2019 in Wattens , Tyrol ) was an Austrian entrepreneur .
Life
Maja Langes-Swarovski was born as the daughter of Rudolf Niedenthal in Alzenau . Her father Rudolf was from 1946 to 1948 a mayor of Alzenau appointed by the American military administration. Maya completed a commercial training and then worked as a model . Son Michael, the current manager of the Swarovski winery in Argentina, emerged from his first marriage with Adolf Halstrick. Maya was married to Gernot Langes-Swarovski , the great-grandson of the company's founder Daniel Swarovski , from whom she divorced. Their children from this marriage are son Markus (* 1974) and daughter Diana (* 1972).
