The McCarthy Glacier is a glacier in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . On the south side of the Wisconsin Range it flows in a westerly direction and flows immediately southwest of Mount McNaughton together with the Olentangy Glacier into the Reedy Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1960 and 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1967 after Lieutenant Robert J. McCarthy, Navy pilot on flights to this area during Operation Highjump (1946-1947).
