The McKenzie Nunatak is a striking, 1620  m high nunatak in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It looms between the McLin Glacier and the Graveson Glacier in the Bowers Mountains .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after the glaciologist Garry Donald McKenzie (* 1941), who between 1966 and Participated in field research on the Meserve Glacier in 1967 .
