The McNally Peak is a 2,570 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . In the Queen Maud Mountains, it rises 5.5 km west of Mount Farley near the southeast side of the Holdsworth Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1967 after Commander Joseph J. McNally of the United States Navy , supply officer at McMurdo Station in the Antarctic winter of 1959 and a member of the command staff of the US Navy support units in Antarctica for Operation Deep Freeze in 1967 .
