The motor ferry Meersburg is a car ferry on the Konstanz – Meersburg ferry line on Lake Constance . Like her sister ship Konstanz, which was put into service in 1975, it operates as the second large-capacity ferry in liner service between Konstanz-Staad and Meersburg .

The Meersburg was put into service on July 1, 1980 as a replacement for the Linzgau from 1952. It was modernized in winter 2000/2001 and newly motorized in winter 2005/2006 at the Bodan shipyard in Kressbronn on Lake Constance .
