Megascope
Megaskop ( ancient Greek for "wunderkammer") refers to a form of magic lantern ( "magic lamp"), which enlarged images of opaque objects, wood sections , photographs or natural objects designs. As with the ordinary magic lantern, the objects are placed opposite the lenses and are very strongly illuminated by a device on the front. The megascope is the forerunner of the episcope (a projector).
