Meiersboden is de facto a district of the Grisons canton capital Chur , although politically it belongs to Churwalden . Postal Meier Chur ground is connected.

geography

Meiersboden is located southeast of the urban area and borders the Sand district . At the entrance to Meiersboden, the Rabiosa flows into the Plessur .

Infrastructure

Meiersboden is known for the large civil defense training center . In addition, the quarter only consists of a few houses.

traffic

Meiersboden is served by line 9 of the Chur city bus . The railway line Chur-Arosa of the Rhaetian Railway passes through the quarters and limited it to the north.

Varia

Until 2009, the Reformed inhabitants of the Meiersboden church belonged neither to Chur nor to Churwalden, but to Tschiertschen . They have been church members in Chur since 2010.
