Milestone is an Austrian party hit band .
Band history
The band was founded in 2002 by Helmut "Heli" Brunner, Charly Höfer, Stefan Konrad and Martin "Rick" Rosenberger.
The best-known song of the current five-piece band is still Christin , which was released as a single on the Ötztal label VM Records in 2008 and was distributed by MCP Sound & Media, based in Mittenwald . The title, which is featured on both of the band's albums, was released in 2011 on the home label HomeRun Music in another single version and is also included on hit samplers. The debut album with the title Give me your love , released by Major Babies in 2011, entered the Austrian album charts at number 10 in June 2011.
While recording the single Wov ich träume in 2015, the band played with Sigi Obereder on the second keyboard with six members. The second album Na na verlorene Liebe , released in 2017, was made up of five and entered the Austrian album charts at number 15 in August 2017, where it was topped at number 14 for a week.
In addition to smaller folk festivals, Milestone also appear at more well-known events and were seen, for example, at the Wiener Wiesn , as headliners at the Danube Island Festival and at the Swiss Musi Open Air. In 2011, 2012 and 2015 they had appeared in the ORF series Wenn die Musipiele .
